Who is Chel Bautista?
I am a work-at-home mom who now lives and thrives on the Internet!
Here’s a brief background of my work history:
I’ve started working in the outsourcing industry since 2003. I worked as a Tele-Qualifier with a startup company and this first work experience taught me how to generate leads via phone.
However, after a couple of months, I resigned and helped with our family business. When we moved to a different place, I decided to go job hunting again. I was fortunate enough to be hired as a Technical Customer Care Representative by Convergys, one of the global leaders in relationship management. I provided technical support to US customers with their broadband internet specifically with connection, email and networking set-up. This job honed my customer service & problem solving skills. I learned to think on my feet, multi-task and most of all, think outside the box.
One of the skills that I’m truly proud of is my passion for researching anything on the Internet. Little did I know that this skill will be the key to paving the way for this online business that I love and enjoy today.
Becoming a virtual assistant just started as a part time job which eventually turned into a full time career. I now work at home full time as a VA. This has been one of the best decisions I have ever made as I’m able to earn well without compromising my skills and abilities and be able to take care of my son at the same time.
